Getting a green lawn for your home is more challenging than simply watering it. This service will significantly impact the color and health of your grass by adequately fertilizing your lawn. Our turf fertilization program at Landscape Experts Inc. is designed to produce a superior lawn. Our environmentally friendly approach, first-rate supplies, and top-notch professionals will improve your property significantly. A lush, green, weed- and pest-free lawn that you can be proud of is the result of our treatment plans combined with core aeration.

In terms of health and appearance, a lawn that adheres to a balanced fertilizer and weed control program is superior to other lawns. The soils on which grass is grown are often low in the natural components necessary for the function and health of the grass plant. Due to their importance to the overall operation of the grass plant, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium are often the elements that we consider when planning a fertilization program. Generally speaking, these three mineral components are combined in fertilizers that are applied to grass. The aim of our fertilizer program is nitrogen because it is the mineral element that the grass plant uses in the highest amount.

What Sets Us Apart

The makeup of fertilizers on the market nowadays has significantly improved. Many people continue using traditional urea-based nitrate fertilizers because of the increased expense of these goods. Landscape Experts inc. is committed to keeping on the cutting edge and uses only the best materials out there. All of our fertilizer rounds use granular fertilizers with “stabilized” nitrogen. There are many advantages to this development in fertilizer technology. Since stabilized nitrogen cannot be lost through leaching, volatilization, or denitrification, its residual activity can last longer. If too much nitrogen is applied too frequently, shoots will continue to grow, yet root growth will slow, leaving the turf vulnerable to problems. With the fertilization program from Landscape Experts Inc., you can maintain feeding for health and a deep green color while being environmentally responsible.

Types of Fertilizers for Your Lawn

Since grass has the potential to drain the earth of all its nutrients over time, lawns require fertilization. Your grass can return to its former luscious greenness with the appropriate fertilizer. A fertilizer mainly contains the nutrients nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). The NPK value displays the percentages of each nutrient in the fertilizer. An NPK value of 18-20-10, for instance, indicates that the fertilizer contains 18% nitrogen, 20% phosphorus, and 10% potassium. Different fertilizers have different rates of nutrient release as well as unique advantages and downsides. The primary types of fertilizer are listed below.

Quick-Release

A quick-release fertilizer is composed of synthetic ingredients, produces quick results, and immediately supplies nitrogen to plants after application. As soon as you need it, it can improve the appearance of your lawn. This type of fertilizer is meant to help new grass seed to grow. However, applying too much of this fertilizer will cause your lawn to burn and can leach nutrients into the soil, harming the environment. The effects persist for two to four weeks, unlike other fertilizers. We are equipped with this type of fertilizer and knowledgeable about its application for maximum results.

Slow-Release

Natural or synthetic fertilizer with a gradual release is also available at Landscape Experts inc. Based on the temperature and moisture levels outdoors, it dispenses nutrients gradually. Although slow-release fertilizer doesn’t provide results immediately, its effects can endure for up to eight weeks or longer. This fertilizer doesn’t stress your grass because it releases nutrients gradually and regularly. Because it is less prone to drain from the soil, this fertilizer is better for the environment than quick-release. Our lawn fertilization programs for fine fescue include spring and fall fertilizer application and organic fertilizer in summer.

What Our Landscape Experts
Clients Say About Us…

We hired Landscape Experts to clean up our yard. They demo’d and hauled away the old tree-house, shed and dead trees, fixed the fence, rearranged the yard furniture, cut, trimmed, and weeded the lawn, plants and flowers and laid down new mulch throughout. Aaron and his crew are very easy to work with and go the extra mile to ensure the job is done right. Aaron provides creative ideas for landscape improvements and was also flexible to implement our ideas. Highly recommented.

Colin E. - Pleasanton, CA

Granular & Liquid
Fertilizers in the granular form are “dry fertilizers” that are packaged as tiny pellets. They are dispersed on the ground and are available in synthetic and natural forms. Before the fertilizer can release the nutrients, the pellets must disintegrate. Granular fertilizers typically cost less than liquid fertilizers. There are various reasons why liquid fertilizers are popular. While granular fertilizer pellets may provide a broader range of nutrients, every drop of the liquid concentrate has the same ratio of each nutrient. Liquid fertilizers allow nutrients to circulate more freely, allowing the soil to absorb the nutrients more quickly. Liquid fertilizer can be sprayed on the ground or foliage directly. Landscaping Experts inc. also provides natural lawn care, an annual lawn maintenance program that uses 100% raw materials, including organic fertilizers.
Why Should You Hire Professional Lawn Fertilization Services?

Hiring a professional lawn fertilization company can be a tricky decision to make because the condition of your lawn may seem fine. Still, sometimes there has to be a thorough check and balance of that condition that only experts can do. A simple identification technique is if you notice your lawn lacks nutrients, turns yellow, or wilts, it’s time to apply fertilizer. At Landscape Experts inc., we know the attention your lawn needs. Our crew will identify what kind of fertilizer to use on your lawn and when it needs to be done regularly. For optimum growth and health, we will fertilize different grass varieties at various periods of the year.
